Students in graduate school have little time for recreational activities, but many would agree that having a place where you are comfortable is essential.
The University of Georgia Graduate School offers a unique program for minority students: Graduate and Professional Scholars. This program gives students social networking opportunities and professional opportunities. GAPS also serves as an advocate on behalf of minority students in many areas such as community service, educational forums, and social programming.
It only takes a glance at the master calendar http://www.uga.edu/gaps/events.html for GAPS to realize how active the club is on campus. The UGA Graduate School is proud to have such a diverse and active student body. GAPS is one example of how the UGA Graduate School creates a comfortable environment for all students.
