The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute’s application for its 2010 Graduate Field Research Summer Travel Awards competition is now open to all graduate students who are looking to study in Portugese- or Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, the Caribbean or Iberia. The Goizueta Foundation Graduate Scholars Fund application is available for an assistantship in the UGA Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education. Applicants will be working to contribute to Latino education in the United States. They should also be proficient in Spanish. For the online application, go to http://www.grad.uga.edu/
The ASA Committee on Women in Statistics and the Caucus for Women in Statistics are offering a $2,000 scholarship for the Gertrude Cox Scholarship for Women in Graduate Statistics Programs. Two awards will be given. Due on February 15, go to http://www.grad.uga.edu/ for the application.
